We are seeking an entry- mid level Immigration Attorney(1-10 years of experience) - Hybrid (Virtual And Office) to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal matters.
We also need an attorney comfortable appearing before State probate courts for SIJ matters helping immigrant youth obtain status.
Our Firm is the leading Immigration Law Firm in Connecticut Specializing in Family Based, Removal Defense, Asylum, SIJ, Naturalization, Waivers, and Consular Process, as well as other areas which we are expanding to.
This is an opportunity for an independent attorney who wishes to focus on practicing law. We have a team of trained paralegals and support staff as well as Senior Attorneys to help guide and supervise entry-level or junior attorneys.
Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies- Appearance at Interviews or hearings is required unless allowed to appear virtually. Currently USCIS Harford Requires In - Person Appearances.
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on immigration matters
- Negotiate settlements with DHS counsel
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
