What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUD or Dual Treatment Outpatient Counselor position at Pickaway Area Recovery Services, Inc.?
Brief Job Description: This employee will be responsible for providing SUD or Dual Treatment services (assessments, PHP, IOP, groups, individual sessions, case management) at LRS outpatient, meeting productivity standards, and ensuring prompt timely, and accurate documentation of services provided. Other duties as assigned. Employee will be expected to be an active participant of the LRS team and be flexible in providing the best client care and services. Must have a positive, professional attitude.
Education/Skill Preferred:
1. Minimum LCDC II, or higher SUD licensure OR LSW/LPC or higher MH licensure
2. Work experience with population, a minimum of 6 months preferred
3. Current ODM provider number
4. Understanding of BH Terminology and ICD 10 Codes
5. Excellent Electronic Health Record skills
6. Experience with completing prior authorizations for MCOs
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills
Job Duties-Percentage:
SUD Services 60 – 70%
Documentation of Services 15 – 20%
Other Duties as assigned 5 – 10%
