Job Description 

DEFCON AI, a Red Cell Partners incubation, is looking to hire an experienced Senior Analyst. You will be on the ground floor conducting cutting edge analytics in support of defense and commercial applications. You will work in a highly collaborative environment with a diverse team of analytic and subject matter experts. And you’ll have direct access to leadership to build strategic direction. DEFCON is a flat, fast-paced environment where you will lead not only at the strategic level, but also day-to- day by diving deeply into business, product, and technical domains.

DEFCON AI is a modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) company that provides cutting-edge technology solutions for generating operationally relevant insights for the next generation of logistics and mobility decision making. An AI- driven software incorporating an intelligent agent within a simulation environment — DEFCON is the next driving force in defining how logistics disruptions are handled.

QUALIFICATIONS:

CORE SKILLS (REQUIRED):

• MS., or Ph.D. in mathematics, operations research, physics, computer science, industrial engineering, or related field
• Knowledge and experience with statistics and data science
• Programming experience in Python and/or R, including common data science libraries (e.g. Pandas, Numpy) and
• SQL
• At least 5 years of experience using analysis to solve complex problems 

CORE SKILLS (PREFERRED):

• Experience formulating and solving mixed integer linear and non-linear optimization
• Experience formulating and solving mobility problems
• Practical experience applying AI/ML technique
• At least 10 years of experience using analysis to solve a wide range of complex problems
• Secret Clearance, ability to achieve a Secret Clearance required
