Position Overview:
The Pickerington Local School District seeks qualified applicants for a High School Principal (grades 9-12) for Pickerington High School Central.
Candidates must have strong leadership, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Job Goal:
To serve as the instructional leader in the building; responsible for day-to-day management of the entire school
building operation; major areas of focus include personnel, curriculum, students and public relations within the community.
Qualifications:
•Valid Ohio certificate/license for principal which includes grades 9-12
•Minimum of five (5) years successful classroom teaching experience at the secondary level preferrred
•Experience with master schedule development and scheduling of school activities during and after school hours
•Credentialed OPES, OTES, and OSCES evaluator or the ability to obtain the credential OPES, OTES and OSCES evaluator
•Ability to intepret/analyze data to determine student success
•Work collaborative with building personnel and/or other district/building department and have the ability to perform as an instructional
leader with all staff members.
•And/or any additional qualifications, training, or other credentials, as determined by the Board of Education
