Purpose of Job
The Escrow Officer Floater fills in for other Officers and Managers while out, working on the absent officer's desk. This position may at times be a lead or management position or may work in a subordinate role.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to any customer inquiries in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
- Review contracts and prepare escrow instructions. Monitor the transaction, reviewing for completeness and compliance and ensuring all necessary information and documentation has been ordered and is accurate, i.e. payoff, HOA disclosures. Abstract documents, title reports, loan documentation, and other pertinent information and review for completeness and compliance.
- Facilitate closings, ensuring all documents and funds required to complete sales and loan transactions are properly prepared and executed.
- Conduct the closing including explanation of all related documents and closing costs.
- Ensure that title issues are resolved prior to closing.
- Prepare and submit closed loan package, deposits and disbursement documentation, recording package, and / or commission package to appropriate department or entities.
- Prepare Settlement Statements and other required miscellaneous documents.
- Support the policies and procedures of the Officer or Manager whose desk you're covering.
Perform any additional escrow-related responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Wage : $37.00 - $40.00 hourly (or) annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for formulary incentive plan / annual discretionary bonus, based on financial results.
