Picnic Time is a successful & sunny SoCal-based wholesale supplier of premium outdoor leisure, gift, and promotional products established in a garage in 1982. (Don’t worry, we have a real office now.) We know picnic, we love picnic, and we live picnic – it’s literally in our name.

Responsibilities include:
Location: Moorpark, CA 93021
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4 PM (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Salary: $80,000 base salary plus commissions
Employee Type: Full time, salaried, exempt from overtime

Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts.
- Identify and pursue new key account opportunities within the [mention target market or industry].
- Negotiate sales contracts and pricing agreements.
- Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., purchasing, logistics, marketing) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the company CRM system.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
- Proactively address and resolve customer issues and concerns.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience 5 years as a Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, or a similar role within a wholesale distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to travel to customer locations nationwide as needed.
- Experience in the housewares, outdoor products, or consumer goods industries is a plus.
