Job Summary
Are you a results-driven professional passionate about sales, customer relationships, and driving business growth? Pico Propane is seeking a Sales Representative to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role focuses on expanding our presence in the commercial market, targeting industries such as construction, hospitality, dry cleaning, and transportation utilizing propane-powered equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and cultivate relationships with commercial targets in Miami and surrounding areas, including construction companies, hospitality businesses, and logistics firms.
- Effectively utilize Salesforce.com CRM to manage daily sales activities, track customer interactions, analyze data, and maintain up-to-date records for accurate forecasting and strategic planning.
- Client Consultations: Assess customer propane needs and create tailored solutions to enhance their operations.
- Market Expansion: Develop strategies to penetrate new market segments, growing Pico Propane’s presence in the commercial sector.
- Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales quotas through consistent prospecting, client visits, and closing deals.
- Partnership Building: Establish trust with key decision-makers and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
- Achieve goals and objectives set by the VP and Director of Sales.
- Foster positive relationships with associates, customers, vendors, and business partners.
- Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and maintain an engaging attitude in all interactions.
- Support new initiatives and all other tasks as assigned.
- Stay informed about industry trends and propane applications to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree in business, management, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Experience in the propane or fuel industry is required.
- 2–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in homebuilding, appliances, outside sales, or retail-related business is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Assertive, self-motivated, and able to make independent decisions.
- Strong customer relationship management and organizational abilities.
- Proven closing skills and the ability to build long-term, value-driven relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and technology use.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
