PICS Inventory is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our Finance team to handle weekly payroll processes, as well as day-to-day accounting duties.

- Location: Holly, MI (Corporate office) / In person
- Position Type: Full-Time / Salaried / Monday – Friday / 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Travel: None Required
- Accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly, weekly, daily payroll as needed.
- Accurate and timely processing of payroll records including entering any changes to employee information for benefit/deduction changes, new hires, and terminations. This includes handling Direct Deposit information, understanding State & Federal W-4 forms, and the issuance of employee pay cards.
- Backup for AP, AR and other accounting duties as assigned.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies as well as timely follow up with employees on payroll-related questions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters and keep records and files confidential.
- Maintaining files, processing, and payment of Child Support and Wage Garnishment orders.
- Must be able and willing to use/learn Sage100 Accounting / Payroll Software.
- Processing employment verifications as received.
- Processing of quarterly bonuses/stipends/commission-based pay as determined.
- Reliable record keeping and payment of weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly taxes including individual state withholding and individual state unemployment.
- Works closely and effectively with the Senior Management to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- College Degree (preferred) and / or some accounting or payroll experience.
- High School degree or Equivalent.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on time management and prioritization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with focus on attention to detail.
