OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN A WELL-ESTABLISHED PEDIATRIC HOSPITALIST PRACTICE
Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a full time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our practice at The Children's Medical Center at Summerlin Hospital in Summerlin, NV.
- 34-bed pediatric floor covered by the 5-physician team of Pediatric Hospitalists
- Pediatric floor average daily census of 24
- 12-bed PICU covered by our affiliated practice of Pediatric Intensivists
- NICU and newborn nursery is managed by our affiliated neonatology practice
- Rounding in hospital with call from home
- Full-fledged children's hospital with well represented sub-specialties and a dedicated Pediatric ED
- Academic affiliation with a pediatric residency program with opportunities to mentor, teach and train pediatric residents and medical students
- Robust quality improvement program and opportunities for clinical research, if desired
- Current or recent in-patient hospital experience is required
