Pieces Early Learning is looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time BCBA to provide in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services in Mentor, OH. Work hours are flexible. Client sessions occur Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM but BCBAs create their own schedules based on the needs of their clients. Staff at Pieces Early Learning work with children ages 2 to 9 who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a passion for working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify behavioral issues and develop effective treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor verbal behavior (VB) and applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive care and support.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other staff members involved in the implementation of treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in a digital platform of patient progress.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices, including applied behavior analysis techniques..
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' needs.
