Acute Rehab Unit Only:
- Tuesday–Saturday (five 8-hour shifts)
- Wednesday–Saturday (four 10-hour shifts)
- Tuesday–Saturday (five 8-hour shifts)
- Wednesday–Saturday (four 10-hour shifts)
- Schedule shared 50/50 between Acute Rehab Unit and Inpatient Units
- Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM): 8%
- Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM): 11%
- No weekend differential
- Conduct objective and quantifiable baseline assessments of patient self-care function, cognitive ability, sensory-perceptual-motor function, and activities of daily living.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to each patient’s condition and treatment diagnosis.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans dynamically based on patient progress and clinical response.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal treatment outcomes.
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, assistive devices, and strategies for continued improvement at home.
- Maintain a compassionate and supportive environment for patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
- Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Idaho is required. Candidates may apply prior to graduation or receiving licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous Acute Care experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to create and implement detailed, goal-oriented treatment plans.
- Commitment to maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
