Job Summary: CT Technologists work 7am-7pm Sat/Sun/Mon and are eligible for a competitive sign on bonus. They specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images for doctor diagnoses and patient treatment.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations under the guidance of a supervising Radiologist, providing patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Required: Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
Minimum Experience Required: A minimum of one year experience as a Radiological Technologist, or advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) if less than one year of experience.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R), or if less than one year as a Radiologic Technologist, Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (CT).
Additional Qualifications: Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) is preferred, as well as BLS certification and six months experience as a CT Technologist.
