Description : RESPONSIBLE FOR :
Performs and supervises modality dailyoperations and provides leadership relative to the assigned area.This position requires 70 percent patient care and 30 percentsupervisory functions. Promotes and advocates imaging services byremaining abreast of the latest changes in technology andequipment. The Lead Radiological Technologist ensuresaccreditations standards are maintained as well as performs avariety of tasks involving the operation of MRI equipment and otherequipment / devices as appropriate. Works closely with departmentManagers to ensure that the department is adequately staffed for24 / 7 coverage.
Qualifications :
MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED :
Graduate of an accredited A.R.R.T.program. Registered as a Radiological Technologist with theAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists. ARRT(R).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :
3-years of technicalexperience.
MINIMUMLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW :
Registered by the American Registry ofRadiologic Technologists with certification inradiography.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
BLS Certified
Evidenceof leadership, critical problem-solving skills, prioritization, anddecision-making skills.
Experience in leadership ofpersonnel.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements
