RESPONSIBLE FOR :
Performs and leads modality daily operationsand provides leadership relative to the assigned area. Promotes andadvocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latestchanges in technology and equipment. The Lead UltrasoundTechnologist ensures accreditations standards are maintained aswell as performs a variety of tasks involving the operation ofultrasound equipment and other equipment / devices asappropriate.
Qualifications :
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED :
Graduate of an AMA approvedDiagnostic Medical Sonography Program or equivalent experienceaccording to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission(IAC).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :
Must meet requirements of highestleveled Ultrasound Technologist at the assignedentity.
MINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONREQUIRED BY LAW :
ARDMS registered and / or RVT,RVS, RT(S), RT(VS).
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
BLS Certified
Evidence of leadership, critical problem-solving skills,prioritization, and decision-making skills.
Experiencein leadership of personnel.
Knowledge of regulatoryrequirements
