Job Title: Part Time Medical-Surgical Nurse
Shift: Nights, 7pm-7am
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated medical-surgical nurse to join our team at Piedmont Athens. Our Med A unit is a fast-paced 30-bed environment where nurses coordinate health care plans with the entire medical team to provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients suffering from various illnesses and comorbidities.
About the Role
- Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
