Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support Job Details Minimum Experience : 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population : Adults to Geriatrics General Skills and Work Setting Requirements : Med Surg overflow and oncology with inpatient hospice Ratio / Census : 1 : 4-5; 12 beds with average census of 10 Unit Systems : Epic, Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color : Navy Blue RTO : MAX 7 days Weekends : Every other weekend Floating : Yes, within facility Call Requirements : None HOLIDAYS : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Job Requirements Certifications Required : BLS required; OCN preferred State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date Annual Nursys (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date Schedule Information Contract Length : 12 weeks Compliance : Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Unit Specific Information Unit Details : Med Surg overflow and oncology with inpatient hospice Additional Details Photo ID Required Drug Testing : Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start.
