Location - Piedmont AtlantaHospital
JOBPURPOSE :
Supervises and monitors pharmacypersonnel as assigned by the department director including dailyoperations. Responsible for staff development and performancemanagement for all pharmacy staff.
Performs all duties ofregistered Pharmacist, including Patient focused care clinicalactivities throughout the hospital providing patients with optimalmedication therapy as well as Nutritional Support clinicalactivities to provide patients with optimal therapy.
Serves toevaluate, implement and support pharmacy information systems andintegrated applications. Verifies that end users are adequatelytrained on applications and assures they demonstrate continuedcompetence on such.
Serves as a professional consultant tophysicians, nurses, and other health carestaff.
Required Hours : Shift expectations; 2 : 30pm-11pm approximately butwill require some variability. 5 days per week. 1 weekend every 4thweekend.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED :
Graduate of an ACPE accreditedschool of pharmacy with a Bachelors Degree or higher inPharmacy.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :
Two years hospital pharmacyexperience required.
