Description : Location : Piedmont Imaging at KennesawSchedule : PRN, As neededJOB PURPOSE : Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Providespatient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.Qualifications : MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED :
- Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
- NoneMINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :
- ARDMS registered in at least 1 specialty.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :
- BLS certified.
- One (1) year of experience is preferred.
- Registered ARDMS and / or RVS / RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is desired
