About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our MedSurg team on a per-diem basis. As a MedSurg nurse, you will provide comprehensive care to patients throughout their lifecycle, utilizing the nursing process for assessment and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
The staff nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. This includes functioning within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrating professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is also responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a graduate degree in nursing and a current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification is required, and advanced certification in the field of specialty is an added advantage. One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
