Piedmont Augusta Hospital is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. We are currently seeking an experienced MedSurg Registered Nurse to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist.
This role involves working nights from 7 pm to 7:30 am with rotating weekends. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of quality patient care and addressing operational issues within the nursing services department.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating patient care activities and ensuring that patients receive timely and effective treatment
- Communicating effectively with staff members, physicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery
- Collaborating with other departments to address operational issues and improve patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A graduate degree in nursing
- At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- A current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia or a multistate license
- BLS certification
We prefer candidates with two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting, a bachelor's degree, and advanced certification in their field. If applicable, demonstrated clinical competency is also desirable.
