The Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in MedSurg and Oncology provides comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout their lifecycle. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while adhering to organizational policies.

The staff nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages, from birth through the end of life. Utilizing evidence-based practices, they assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the framework of the organization's policies and procedures. Additionally, they maintain professional growth and accountability, ensuring that nursing standards are upheld and quality care is provided.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Graduate of a nursing program.
Minimum Experience: New graduates of a nursing program are eligible. For PRN positions, one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
Minimum Licensure/Certification: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification is required.
Additional Qualifications: A bachelors degree and advanced certification in a field of specialty are preferred.
