Job Details
Registered Nurse position at Piedmont Augusta Hospital
Patient Population : Pediatrics to Geriatrics
Minimum Experience : 1 year; 1st Timers accepted
Need an RN operating room circulator with at least 1 year circulator experience in the intraoperative setting; Specialties include : Retina surgery, total hip / knees, Hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, Lap Chole, Hernia repairs, Podiatry
Ratio / Census : 1 : 4; 5 rooms with average daily census of 18
Unit Systems : Epic, Pyxis
Scrub Color : Provided by the facility
Compliance : Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
Job Requirements
Certifications Required : BLS
State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date
Annual Nursys (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date
Background Check required within 30 days of start.
Schedule Information
6 : 30-3pm and 8 : 30-5pm
Traveler will have to work 5 days one week and 4 the next equaling 72 hours in a two week period
They will have 1 day off every other week
Holidays : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Unit Specific Information
Unit may expect RN to stay over based on the certain amount of rooms that have been finished called dots and double dots.
