Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support NIH Stroke Certification Job Details Minimum Experience : 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population : Adults to Geriatrics Telemetry unit with diagnoses including CHF, MI / Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), Dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), Hypo- / Hypertension, Pleural effusion, Sepsis, PE / DVT / vascular issues Ratio / Census : 1 : 4-5; 16 Rooms Unit Systems : Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color : Navy Blue RTO : MAX 7 days Weekends : Every other weekend Floating : Yes Call Requirements : None Holidays : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Job Requirements Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS and NIH State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date Annual Nursys (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date Schedule Information Weekends : Every other weekend Holidays : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
