Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support GA State OT License Job Details Minimum Experience : 3 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population : Adults to Geriatrics General Skills and Work Setting Requirements : Therapists need to be familiar with all acute care diagnoses to include, general acute conditions, cardiac, post op cardiac / orthopedic diagnoses and precautions, acute neuro conditions. Therapists cover all units including general ICU, neuro ICU, and cardiac PACU. Ratio / Census : 1 : 8-1 : 10; 9 visits per day with average daily census of 155 Unit Systems : Epic and Epic Secure Chat / Email Scrub Color : Royal Blue RTO : MAX 7 days Weekends : 2 weekend days per month minimum Floating : Yes, within facility as needed and to sister campus (Piedmont Augusta Summerville) Call Requirements : None Holidays : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Job Requirements Certifications Required : BLS, GA State OT License Compliance : Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
