Minimum Experience : 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted
Patient Population : Neonates, Adults, Geriatrics
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements : Required Skills include ABG Interpretation, CPAP / Nasal CPAP / BiPAP, Flow-by, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation, trach collar, high flow nasal cannula, airway management
Ratio / Census : Not specified
Department Systems : Epic (Required), Pyxis
Scrub Color : Pewter gray
RTO : MAX 7 days
Weekends : Every other weekend
Floating : Yes, within facility and possibly to additional campus (Piedmont Augusta Summerville – 3 miles down the road)
Call Requirements : None
Holidays : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Job Requirements
Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS, RRT or minimum of CRTT
State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date
CRTs & RRTs : Must be licensed by the State of Georgia
Annual Nursys (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date
Schedule Information
Weekends : Every other weekend
RTO : MAX 7 days
Holidays : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
