What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Mammo Tech, Sign-On Bonus Available position at Piedmont Careers?
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs and leads the daily operations of mammography and provides leadership relative to the assigned area. Promotes and advocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latest changes in technology and equipment. The Lead Mammography Technologist ensures accreditations standards are maintained and performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Must meet requirements of highest leveled Mammography Technologist at the assigned entity.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) - ARRT.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
Evidence of leadership, critical problem-solving skills, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
Experience in leadership of personnel.
Knowledge of regulatory and ACR accreditation requirements
