PCU / MS / ED Hold-Float Pool
Minimum Experience : 2 years - Unit doesn't accept first time travelers
Patient Population : Adults to Geriatrics
Ratio : 1 : 4-1 / 6
Unit Systems : Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
Unit Description : This position will be hospital float pool staff and will be expected to float throughout the hospital. Nurses in this role will be caring for post surgical, medical, PCU stepdown on IP units and ER as hold patients. Competencies for these services as well as critical drips will be expected. Ratios are 1 : 4-1 : 6 depending on patient acuity. Vent management, intensive / critical care and ED experience PREFERRED so RN can be utilized fully as a float pool staff member.
Must have experience : Cardiac drips, TR band removal and Bipap usage, ACLS BLS, ENPC Preferred.

2 years of experience required
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
State License verification within 30 days prior to start date
Annual Nursys (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) verification within 30 days prior to start date
Background Check required within 30 days of start.
Schedule Information
RTO : MAX 7 days
Block Scheduling Not Guaranteed
No RTO 3 / 29-4 / 7; 7 / 4-7 / 7
Weekends : Every Other
Floating : Within facility and to sister campus if needed
Holidays : Expected to work major holidays if they fall within assignment period.
Unit Specific Information
