RESPONSIBLEFOR :
Performs diagnostic and therapeuticNuclear Medicine and / or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according toall Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A.programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordancewith manufacturer, state and federalguidelines.
Qualifications :
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED :
Graduate of a NuclearMedicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee onEducation Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or theNuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board(NMTCB).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :
None.
MINIMUMLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :
EitherCNMT or NMTCB registered.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
BLS Certified.
Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safetyguidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform andprocess Nuclear Medicine examinations.
