The LPN delivers high-quality patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or provider, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission and Vision Statements. This involves functioning within the scope of their license and adhering to the organization's policies and procedures, while also demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
Nursing Care Delivery:
The LPN plays a crucial role in guiding ancillary staff and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional nursing care. By combining compassion, technical skills, and holistic approach, the LPN delivers patient-centered care that addresses the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients throughout their lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Minimum Experience: New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible
- Minimum Licensure/Certification: Current License in the State of Georgia as a LPN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License, BLS certification required
- Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for, preferred Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting, ALS/ACLS and PALS certifications required for Emergency Department positions
