The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in our MedSurg and Ortho departments, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans. This role requires strong communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care activities.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).
