Job Description
Job Title : MRI Technician
Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - MRI
Job Duration : 12 months
Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (10 : 00 - 18 : 30)
Guaranteed Hours : Not specified
Experience : Minimum 2 years; first timers accepted with MRI experience
License : GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of application
Certifications : BLS, ARRT R, ARRT Advanced Certification
Must-Have : Experience with procedures involving Head and Neck, Breast MRI, Spine, Extremities, etc., with or without contrast, and MRA's
Job Description :
- Work Schedule : Monday-Friday with potential weekend shifts every other weekend.
- Orientation : 13 hours of orientation are required and non-billable.
- Systems Used : Epic and Fuji.
- Work Setting : Two MRI Units available, Siemens Symphony and Siemens Espree.
- Patient Population : Ranges from Neonates to Geriatrics.
- Compliance : Full compliance required to start on time; delays may push start date back by two weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedules.
- Floating : Possible requirement to float to sister campus if needed.
- Holidays : Expectation to work one major holiday if it falls during assignment. If two or three major holidays fall during the assignment, two must be worked.
- Call Requirements : Active participation as needed.
- Scrub Colors : Black, Grey, and Eggplant.
- RTO : Maximum of 7 days.
Candidates must submit core documentation and complete / schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing to ensure an on-time start. Modules are completed during orientation. References from two supervisors at Manager level or above are preferred.
