The purpose of this position is to perform custodial and cleaning duties with respect to bathrooms, offices, classrooms and other spaces used by Piedmont Community College. Part-time work schedule will not exceed 26 hours/week.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Essential DutiesCleans, dusts, sweeps, mops and disposes of trash in the campus buildings according to assigned job schedule.Cleans bathrooms, floors, walls, windows, furniture, trash cans, fixtures and equipment.Checks paper products in bathrooms.Assists with set-up and cleaning for campus eventsAssists stripping and waxing of floors when needed.Maintains professional appearance of the college at all times.Daily, weekly, monthly and periodically detailed duties as assigned.Additional Duties Performs other duties as assigned by Director, Facilities Services
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Licenses and Certificates: Valid state driver's license.Specialized Training: Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of custodial equipment (vacuum cleaners, mops and mop buckets, dust mops, high dusters and floor maintenance equipment).Ability to read and understand label instructions on various chemicals.Skilled in written and verbal communications.
