Full time benefitted position available as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, primarily for catchment area Horizons program, but may require some travel to Martinsville, Henry, Franklin, and Patrick Counties for support. Peer Recovery Support Specialist will provide non-clinical peer-to-peer activities to facilitate individuals' health improvement, recovery, resiliency, and wellness. To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate one year lived experience of substance use disorder challenges and personal recovery on your application. Must be a Virginia Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist or certification eligible. Valid driver's license and safe driving record required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience as it relates to the position.
