What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist position at Piedmont Community Services?
Successful candidate must be able to plan and provide rehabilitative services in catchment area for individuals with serious mental illness. Duties include developing treatment plans, providing individual and group instructions, and completing required supportive documentation. Bachelor's degree in human services or related field with one-year experience working with the seriously mentally ill population required or qualified as QMHP / QMHP-E according to Virginia Board of Counseling guidelines. QMHP-A trainee supervision/experience provided, pending BOC QMHP-A trainee certification approval within 30 days of hire. Valid driver's license and safe driving record required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience as it relates to the position.
