What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production: Trim Shop position at Piedmont Composites & Tooling?
Piedmont Composites & Tooling is growing! We are looking to expand our production staff in our Trim Shop. No previous experience is required! We do all of our own training in-house.
$20/hr.
Job Description
- Trim away excess fiberglass material from molded parts using power tools like grinders, routers, or hand tools to achieve precise contours
- Must be able to read and use a tape measure
- Use basic math skills to understand measurements and dimensions to ensure accurate trimming
- Ensure that trimmed parts meet established quality standards regarding dimensions, finish, and overall appearance
- Attention to detail
- Be willing to be cross-trained to work in other areas of the plant as needed
- Keep department clean
Benefits:

Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug test and disclose anything that would turn up on a background check
- Must have a valid NC driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to work on your feet
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend or stoop as needed, and be able to push molds around the plant
