A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT SWIM TEAM COACH:
Our club in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking to hire a seasonal Assistant Swim Team Coach. You conduct swimming classes and individual swimming lessons in a safe and responsible manner. You serve as a role model for the swimmers to follow in the competition arena.
Taking pride in your work area, you are conscientious about staff and swimmers adhering to all safety rules and regulations. You enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop for your work and get great satisfaction out of helping our members and their children have a great swimming experience!
WORK SCHEDULE:
This seasonal position requires working variable shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays mainly during the summer season. Occasional work outside the season.
Requirements
- Some High School
- Some experience teaching swimming lessons or coaching
- Competitive swimming experience as coach or athlete preferred
- Knowledge of the rules of the four competitive strokes used in a swim meet preferred
- Experience working with children in some capacity preferred
Some swim lesson or coaching experience as well as competitive swimming as a coach or athlete preferred but multiple factors are taken into consideration.
