A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL:
Our club in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a full-time assistant golf pro. You provide outstanding customer service to our members and their guests. Friendly and welcoming, you provide immediate attention to all upon arrival.
You assist the Golf Professionals with numerous activities relating to the management and operation of the club’s golf program including the management of day-to-day golf operations, supervision of the total golf operations with a commitment to the highest level of satisfaction of all members and their guests. You enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop for your work and get great satisfaction out of helping our members and their guests have a great golfing experience!
WORK SCHEDULE:
This full-time serving position requires working variable shifts including weekends and holidays.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Actively pursuing PGA membership in a PGA Professional Golf Management program
- Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility operations and tournament operations
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Experienced in written and oral business communications
- Proficient using Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suite
- Two- or four-year degree in golf management or similar preferred
- Current PGA of America membership in good standing with an active classification preferred
- Maintains a credible golf game preferred
- Proficient in other applications, (e.g., tournament software and databases) preferred
Experience in a similar golf environment and strong golf knowledge are highly desirable but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
