A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SEASONAL CAMP COUNSELOR:
Our club in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a Summer Camp Counselor. You provide outstanding customer service to our members’ children. Friendly and welcoming, you provide immediate attention to all upon interaction. Help to implement and execute the summer activities program including events for either age group 2 to 6 years or ages 6 to 11 years.
You work closely with department leaders to cultivate synergy in a team-based organization. Additionally, you take pride in providing service to youths through informal counseling and participation in structured educational and recreational workshops and activities. As an ambassador of your area, you communicate daily with parents/guardians and as required.
Taking pride in your area and its equipment, you are conscientious about the safety of your member’s areas. You enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop for your work and get great satisfaction out of helping our members and their children have a great camp experience!
WORK SCHEDULE:
This seasonal full-time position requires working variable shifts including evenings and weekends.

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Two years of applicable work experience as a childcare provider
- Work experience in childcare, recreation, or other child- or youth-related field in a similar setting
- Previous babysitting experience with children
- Experience in educational program implementation preferred
- Experience working with children in a school or summer camp environment preferred
