Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Department Staff RN PRN Night Shift to join our team at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to infants, children, and geriatric patients in the emergency department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as an Emergency Department RN, with strong skills in triage and assessment.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
- Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems preferred.

Schedule Information
This position requires working night shifts, every other weekend, and floating to sister campuses as needed. The contract length is 12 months, with full compliance required to start on time. If not compliant, there will be a two-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedules.
