RESPONSIBLE FOR :
The Mammography Technologist performsspecialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis andtreatment of breast disease in patients. The MammographyTechnologist performs a variety of tasks involving the operation ofmammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment / devices asappropriate.

Qualifications :
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED :
Graduate of an AMA approvedschool of Radiologic Technology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :
One (1) year minimum experience as aMammography Technologistpreferred.
MINIMUMLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :
Must beARRT (M) - Mammographyregistered.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
BLS certified.
