Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Job Details Minimum Experience : 1 year; 1st Timers not accepted Patient Population : Infants to Geriatrics General Skills and Work Setting Requirements : General ER Ratio / Census : 1 : 4; 46 Rooms with average daily census of 135 Unit Systems : Epic, Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color : Navy Blue RTO : MAX 7 days Weekends : Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere Floating : Yes, possibly to sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South) Call Requirements : None Holidays : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Job Requirements Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS, PALS State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date Annual Nursys (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date Schedule Information Contract Length : 12 months Compliance : Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
