Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in the outpatient rehabilitation department at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. As a lymphedema care specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients with lymphedema and develop personalized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities and quality of life.
- Implement evidence-based interventions, such as compression garments and manual lymphatic drainage, to manage lymphedema symptoms.
- Educate patients and their families on lymphedema prevention and management techniques.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and coordinate services.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Georgia.
- Experience working with patients with lymphedema or other complex medical conditions.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
