Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload materials in accordance with safety regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations within our distribution center and ensuring timely shipping and receiving processes.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently, adhering to OSHA standards.
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and manage stock levels.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure optimal workflow and address any operational challenges.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Assist in the organization of the warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of products.
- Participate in training sessions for heavy equipment operation as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation is essential.
- Experience operating cranes or other heavy equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
