About Position
Duties/ Responsibilities -
Provides expert consultation on evidence-based clinical operations at both PHSC sites, partner with area academic institutions to create clinical practice guidelines specific to PHSC, provide consultation on complex medical and interdisciplinary cases, act as guide to the IDT on National PACE Regulations, and provide per diem clinical coverage as requested.
Qualifications -
Education/Experience: Graduate from an accredited school of medicine; fellowship training in Geriatrics preferred. At least 10 years clinical experience.
Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Current license to practice medicine in NC. Valid NC driver license and reliable transportation.
Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.

About Position
- Work Location: Piedmont Health Senior Care Burlington (1214 Vaughn Rd, Burlington, NC 27217) & Piedmont Health Senior Care Pittsboro (163 Chatham Business Dr, Pittsboro, NC 27312)
- Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday (.3 FTE or 12 Hours Weekly)
- Travel: As needed between Burlington & Pittsboro PACE facilities

Qualifications -

- Five years of experience with the frail or elderly preferred in PACE context
- Proven clinical leadership
- Able to get along with others in a team environment
- Able to deliver service to physicians, patients and fellow employees with compassion in a responsive and courteous manner in accordance with PACE policies and procedures
- Must have the ability to effectively handle difficult and unusual interpersonal situations
- Only act within the scope of authority to practice
- Meet a standardized set of competencies established by Piedmont Health SeniorCare and approved by CMS before working independently

Salary : $170,336 - $228,918
