Piedmont Henry Hospital 4 South Cardiac Telemetry Improving Patient Care
Our 32-bed Cardiac/Pulmonary Unit at Piedmont Henry Hospital provides exceptional care to patients. Our team consists of Hospitalists, APPs, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and Patient Care Technicians, ensuring a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4/1:5.
We specialize in Arrhythmia Management, including:
• Cardioversion
• Pharmacologic Management
• Tikosyn Loading
Management of titratable Cardiac drips (e.g., Amiodarone, Milrinone, Cardizem, Bumex, Heparin, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Lasix, Nitroglycerine)
• Bipap Management
• Telemetry Monitoring
• High-Flow Management
Post intra-cardiac defibrillator and pacemaker placement care
Post Cardiac-catherization Care, including TR Band Management
DKA management using Glucommander and titratable Insulin drip
Nursing Responsibilities:
The staff nurse is accountable for providing high-quality patient care from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They work within our organization's policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
• Graduate of a nursing program
• New Graduates are welcome to apply
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• BLS certification required
For PRN positions, we prefer candidates with one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting, a Bachelor's degree, and advanced certification in their field, if applicable.
