Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support NIH Stroke Certification Job Details Minimum Experience : 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population : Neonates to Geriatrics General Skills and Work Setting Requirements : Level 3 trauma - in process; Primary stroke, CHF, STEMI, chest pain center Ratio / Census : 1 : 4; 59 Rooms with average 250 visits per day Unit Systems : Epic, Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color : Navy Blue RTO : MAX 7 days Weekends : Every other weekend Floating : Yes Call Requirements : None Holidays : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Job Requirements Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date Annual Nursys (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date Schedule Information Contract Length : 8 weeks Compliance : Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Unit Specific Information Candidate must review / sign prior to start.
