LPN - MedSurg, Surg/Onc at Piedmont Macon Medical Center Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver compassionate and competent nursing care to patients across all ages. This role requires a current LPN license in Georgia and relevant certifications to provide holistic patient care in a MedSurg and Surgical/Oncology setting.
Responsibilities:
- The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission and Vision Statements.
- The LPN guides ancillary staff, collaborates with other health care professionals in the provision of quality nursing care, and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an LPN program
- New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a LPN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for preferred
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
Requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the State of Georgia
- BLS certification
- Clinical experience in MedSurg and Surgical Oncology settings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Nursing experience in hospital settings
- Certification in ACLS, PALS, or other relevant specialties
