RESPONSIBLE FOR :
Performs necessary duties in scrub role. Takeson greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating ahigher level critical thinking and problem solving skills.Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient careduties for clients of various age groups under the direction of aregisterednurse.
Qualifications :
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED :
High School graduate or GED.
Graduate of a Surgical Technologyprogram.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :
Certification as a SurgicalTechnologist or 3 years of surgical tech experiencerequired.
MINIMUMLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW :
N / A
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
Certification as a SurgicalTechnologist preferred
BLS certification required.
