The RN - MedSurg position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across various age groups. The nurse will utilize nursing processes for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, all while adhering to organizational policies and maintaining high standards of practice.
This role requires a current Georgia nursing license and may involve oversight of other staff in delivering quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
- Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
- Maintain standards of practice, coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Graduate of a nursing program
- Minimum Experience: New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
- Additional Qualifications: Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred. Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
