THIS POSITION IS LOCATED INTHOMSON, GA AT OUR MCDUFFIEFACILITY.
RESPONSIBLE FOR :
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologistsspecialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectionalimages to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CTTechnologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographicexaminations in accordance with all prescribed standards under thedirect guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologistsprovide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal,pediatrics, adult, andgeriatrics.
Qualifications :
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED :
Graduate of an AMA approvedRadiologic Technology program.
MINIMUMEXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
A minimum of one (1) yearexperience as a Radiological Technologist. If less than one year asRadiologic Technologist must have advanced certification by ARRT inComputed Tomography (CT).
MINIMUMLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW :
Registered by the American Registry ofRadiologic Technology (R).
If less than one year as aRadiologic Technologist, Registered by the American Registry ofRadiologic Technology (CT).
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
Advanced certification by ARRTin Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
BLS certified. Six(6) months experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
